Had to uninstall Start 11. Had to restart Windows Explorer multiple times a day since I upgraded to Windows 11. I have all the latest Windows 11 updates. Since uninstalling it Windows 11 explorer behaves normally now.

I found a workaround to when MP crashes that is giving me good results without having to restart the computer. When MP crashes, go to the "Services" tab in the task manager and restart the MP service. Without going to another screen (that would crash MP again), unload MP, and then load it again. This seems to re-stabilize MP and when I navigate to other screens after doing this MP remains stable.

I also wanted to add a positive note. It is easy to complain when something is not working right. MP has been such a unique and important piece of software in my life. I want to thank the developers and Stardock, for providing such a crucial program for many. This is why we voice our concerns when the software seems to be losing its unique ground when some tweaks could be made to ensure its functionality and place in the computing community.

I have used MP Seamless for a long time, since its inception, with little to no problems. Recently, though, in the last year, MP has been more unpredictable and less reliable. I am experiencing the exact problems discussed here, with the cursor being lost on the primary with no ability to reconnect to the secondary, caused by an apparent crash of MP. Hi Island Dog! Thanks for your interest. Don't know if a screenshot would help/ Chrome is just hanging, A blank page comes up and i eventually have to click on the blank page a few times to invoke the close program dialog. I will try some other themes to see if this is theme specific or if it is the particular skin I have added to Chrome. I have two computers and on the other one Chrome works perfectly well with WB 7.01.

Just one additional problem with the latest WB build - Chrome seems to be having problems. Didn't have problems with it until I started using WB. Anyone else seen this issue?

I changed the skins a few times and for some reason now my gadgets behave well. That's great! I now can use WB 7.01 confidently. If I experience problems with certain skins I will post again.

Hi Neil! Thanks for taking the time to look at this post. The gadgets that are having problems are some I have created using Amnesty Generator. Most of them are working, except for two of them, gold price and silver price. I also want to report Google Chrome crashing when using the skin Sabertooth. With this skin on i am not having any problems when using "show desktop". Thanks for your input.

Testing the newest build of WB. I love the UI - great job! Stardock always does wuality work and is only improving! I noticed two things with the latest WB build. 1- Some of my Google gadgets I have on the desktop are not even loading when I switch to WB. I get crash errors when starting up. 2- On the Aero colored skins the desktop doesn't become transparent when using the "show desktop" option. Well, I found out how to correct the problem. Weird! I launched WB from the actual program folder (not with the shortcut), wbconfig.exe and it opened up just fine. After that I was able to launch it from the shortcut without a problem. What do you think could have happened?

Sorry to say, this morning Windowblinds is acting up again. Every time I try to start it theres an error message saying "Windowblinds configuration has stopped working and needs to close". My Vista machine is Vista 32 bit. Any ideas?

Well, I gotta tell ya - Stardock rocks! I just noticed an update to WindowBlinds that fixed the issue for me! Thanks for that quick look into it! Was it as Nvidia issue or was MyColors the culprit? Thanks again guys!

Everything with me was working fine until I applied the new Halloween theme with MyColors. After that I wouldn't get back the control of my system with WindowBlinds. Can't even see the theme previews with WindowBlinds and cant apply any new themes. Perhaps incompatibility with MyColors? Or maybe with the new Nvidia drivers?

Would love to try to see it on my XP laptop, but when I try to apply the theme, or any other for that matter, from MyColors, the application hagns and I have to terminate it from the task manager. Any thoughts?

OK, ready for this? This is how it got fixed: I uploaded a new cursor package and double clicked on it to use it (as opposed to going through the control panel). The cursor got changed OK, then I was able to open the control panlel without any problems and choose any other cursor! Funny, huh? Didn't need the whole uninstalling, rebooting and installing routine, thank God! Whew! Thanks guys for hanging with me.
