Just as an update, my problem seemed to be the sysstats docklet. Having just one sysstats docklet did not really cause a problem. More than one and windows would try and end object. Additionally, closing the object dock configure window would hang if using any sysstats docklets.

Yeah, I run McAfee, but I have excluded the objectdoc directory from ondemand scans. Although I just realized that I only ignore the objectdoc installation folder and not the settings folder stored for each user. I will do a little more testing and see what happens. I have not had a chance to play with it after my initial post as I was out of town. Also, removing docks did not have an effect. It is just strange because the freeware v

Has anyone had the issue where ObjectDoc 1.11 does not close properly when logging off or shutting down. When shutting down the end program dialog is displayed by windows xp saying that windows is attempting to shutdown objectdock, eventually it closes and windows shuts down. On a similar note, I have also noticed warnings in the event viewer indicating that object doc might be hanging onto a hive file and windows cannot update the registry during
