Sort of solved it - if I set the dock to 'Show All running Windows' then the UAC Shield icon appears. This is not ideal as it means I get extra icons on the dock for each running application IN ADDITION to their icons on the dock. Running OD 2.20.0.862 on W7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have the W7 taskbar set to hidden in OD Settings. The problem I have is when I run a program that requires a UAC prompt (e.g. something set to 'Run as Administrator'). On normal W7, this displays a dialog on which you can confirm you want to run the application. But when the W7 taskbar is hidden by OD, this dialog does not display. I either have to re-enable the W7 taskbar to select the dialog from the shield icon on

I'm a little confused and have some questions. The link above includes the sentence "As for all current Ultimate users, you will receive a FULL YEAR added to your subscription on the launch of Object Desktop 2010.". This infers that the OD 2010 is not yet available and the current version is OD2009 - is that correct? If so does that mean I'm better off waiting for OD2010 rather than OD2009? What is an 'Ultimate user'? Is there a release date for OD
Try unloading ObjectDock, and then clearing the cache by deleting the Object Dock folder in "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder. That worked great. I also followed the 'clean install procedure and that too worked great. Thanks for the swift
How can I 'Clean Install'? I've not used OD+ for a while, but installed the upgrade from 1.11(I think) to 1.20. My docks looked crud with too many "?" icons. So i ran uninstall and reinstalled, thinking this would put me back to a 'new OD+'. Unfortunately it didn't seem to do it as it didn't recover the default docks that I think came with the original. I regularly copy the files from that folder to a backup. Do you also receive the 'recovered from a recent crash' message. This seems to be pure baloney caused by an OD ill-behaved response when shutting down the PC. I'm assuming that OD doesn't close it's files cleanly during a shutdown. The consequence is a) losing all tab-docks and b) the layout of the ordinary dock becomes reversed. Restoring the settings files gets the ta
