Gosh Tonya, I wish it weren't true. I have faith that you will beat this. Today though? We've done the Komen Race for a Cure for the last few years. I've been making the coporate banners today so I have been randomly searching the web for ideas. I've been deep into the subject. This was not what I was expecting when I popped into JU. This weekend I am walking for you... for a cure.

Doc- They are not so little anymore. That is for sure. I keep saying that I am going to get around to posting updates on their site but it's too much fun playing with them and I really have no desire to look at a computer after work is done. It's crazy to think that next week they will be starting school. They are going to a head start program here. They are doing so well. Chloe alomst passed the test to get into 'real school'. She was just a couple of point shy and I thi
Now, prove what you said. You're making the allegation, so prove it. I've called you on it.
What would you like me to prove? That it is idiotic to have so many email addresses? That there is no possible way that you have suddenly had an epiphany and you are now enlightened? Like I said I

Lucas- I don't buy any of it. I pop in here from time to time and I rarely if ever log in so there is really no need to have a valid user ID to see anything important here. You want people to believe that you have so many email addresses you can't try them all. You want to pretend that you can't remember your credentials. I call Shenanigans. In your next iteration try not to lie right out of the gate. It will lend a load of credibility to your always professe

I'm in no way an expert. I just work around this stuff for one of the top 25 safest companies in Louisiana. I can say from direct experience that even when you do it all right, blowouts happen. I really feel like the companies involved ignored a few good warning signs while trying to just get it finished. Most people are unaware of how rigs and drilling work. The company I work for drills wells. Consider us BP in this scenario except we work as contract operators. We are not the owner

They aren't plugging the pipe above the seabed. The drill pipe didn't explode above the BOP. The damaged pipe happened when the rig sank. The top kill procedure is simply to reduce the pressure so that a proper cementing job can be done so the well can be shut-in. The golf ball an rubber tire pieces are a separate procedure called a junk shot. The goal is the same. I s

One of the things that makes Joe User a better blog site than most out there is that it is more like a forum that you can blog in. Sites like Blooger, Wordpress and Live Journal don't push everyones traffic. You have to find a way to generate traffic on your own. You will still have search engine placement and so on but you will never find a site like JU. It just doesn't exist. JU used to be a great place to blog when you could check by the minute to see new items posted and by the se

I think you all have missed a very important fact in this story. The boys were 'busted' at brunch break. WTF is brunch break? Do little butlers run around serving crepes and mimosas? This school has other issues. They seem to have forgotten that school is a place to learn and not just a place to go hang out while their parents are at work.

Is this a racist law because AZ is so close to the Mexican border? I have read it and it doesn't say anything about picking on 'brown people' or any of the other derogatory terms the MSM has applied to them. It says that if you are arrested or detained and there is a question of your immigration status, it can be verified. It says sp

I don't know why anybody in politics gives a crap about illegals. They can't vote and don't pay taxes. My only question to someone who opposes this is... Why? None of the illegals have the constitutional right to any protections. If you are worried about the poor unfortunate soul who is detained for a while because he can't produce some form of identification, what gives? I walk out of the house with my wallet in my pocket, always. It is not a problem for me

I'd say I know more than the average person about your history. Afterall, your history is same as my ansestors. I have visited Canada, met hundreds of Canadians and shared quite a few beers with some of them. For the most part, they have been some of the finest folks I have ever encountered. I stand by my asumption that the people of Quebec don't share the same flair for life that you find in other parts of the country. I haven't met one of them I liked and I haven't met very

Cikomyr - I'm not a regular around here anymore but if memory serves me ... you aren't a US citizen - right? It is important to question government. It is important to question them at every move, rule or ruling. Without and adequate check system, we might as well roll over and take it up the ass because we are bound to get screwed. Politicians in America serve their own special interests no mater wich side of the isle they sit on. They are ready to sell out to the highest bid

I don't thinkit's your patriotism that you should worry about. Hell, that would be the one thing that would ring true in this nation. It would be the gigantic 'undo' button we would have to press. It would be the level of civil unrest. I can't stand the guy but like it or not he is the president and that should be the way it stays until he is voted out.
BTW, why is it that most replies you give to my commets always start with something like "a load of horse manure"?
Because it is? You can avoid personal attacks without appearing to have you lips appear to be planted on someone's rear. You have never treated anyone at JU the same way you do Brad. You are predictable and easy to manipulate. How many times do I have to tell you? Anytime some dis
It's my opinion that it may have a lot to do with this "rich people need to be punished" attitude we are seeing today in this country. Because you have money, people automatically assume you have power (which you might or might not) and this power can have a lot of influence.
That's just a load of horse manure.
