Reply to CorelDRAW for Skinners. Transparency Basics, & Textures in Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

I am using Illustrator CS (want to swap to Corel Draw after watching your tutorials!). Does any one know if there is the equivilent of the interactive transparency tool in Illustrator? The only way I can get a gradient transparency is by creating another object to use as a mask.

Are you allowd to use the standard Windows XP toolbar icons in your own software (copy, cut, paste, etc), or are there licencing issues?
