DeskScapes 10.02 not work, crash application

hi guys

I installed the new version of desckapes, 10.02
nothing works anymore, as soon as I open the application to set a photo or video and too download photo or video, the application closes
Afyer I have uninstalled the application, first in the classic way, then using your DSpurge script, but nothing has changed.
the error is traced in the windows 10 event view and is as follows:

the d3d9.dll file belongs to the nvidia drivers and works with the nvidia container functionality.

I have also uninstalled the nvidia drivers 2 times, but the problem is always present, the application is unusable, 
please investigate the problem and indicate a solution as soon as possible. Thanks

in the post I wrote that I have already tried your script, but the result is always the same, also the error is always the same

the application opens, when I go to the online tab, waiting for the list of videos or photos to appear, 
as soon as I select a photo or video to download, the application closes

same thing if I select a video or photo that I have locally

After hours of searching on google, I managed to understand the problem, this d3d9.dll file, is used by various programs.

Then the C file: Windows SYSTEM32 d3d9.dll is a directx software library, 
it is also used by nvidia driver (nvidia container) and RivaTuner software which is a utility of the Msi AfterBurner program.

The problem is just RivaTuner, I don't know why, but it creates conflict with DescKapes, 
maybe they can't use this shared library (?). I removed RivaTuner, now DescKapes, everything works great. 
I hope this information can be useful to your team and to all users who may have the same problem

Yes that is good to hear for some , I don't use nvidia so was not aware .

I can confirm that ilcenturione's issue is not a one-off, I just installed DeskScapes 10.03 today (Win10 64bit, 4K) and was having the same crashing issue. I did the purge .bat and re-install, no change and still crashing. I found this post about a RivaTuner conflict (RivaTuner is software that runs in conjuction with MSI Afterburner to manage and monitor GPU's). I shut down MSI Afterburner (and by extension, RivaTuner) and DeskScapes no longer crashes and works properly. The problem is, I still need to use Afterburner/RivaTuner. Is it possible for DeskScapes to be updated or fixed to solve this conflict?

Sorry but I think you may have missed the point here, this will be a problem for anyone who needs to run the RivaTuner software that DeskScapes is conflicting with (like me). Yes it will work if I turn Riva off but I don't want to turn it off because I need it. So perhaps this is something Stardock could fix so that other users don't have to turn off other irrelevant software to make DeskScapes run. Up to you, but I won't be using DeskScapes because I need to keep RivaTuner.

I would imagine that DeskScapes is not the only application that RivaTuner has created obstacles for. That said, DS11 (in the oven) handles things a bit differently so it may not be an issue with it.
