just a little question...

... i´m playing diplomacy vanilla and some mods. the only thing i want to change is

the numbers of fighters and the movement rate, like the dynamic battle mod.

my question is: what kind of tool do i need to change this special values... and where can i find the needed informations?

are there in any of those entity files? or can i find a howto?

First you either need to convert the files yourself or get harpos convert reference files.

Then you can edit them with notepad but I use notepad++.

Converting .BIN to .TXT & .TXT to .BIN

Once you convert the reference files from .BIN to .TXT you can use any text editor like Notepad or WordPad.

The files you need are in the SoaSE root GameInfo or the Org Sins reference files I think.

Look in the GameInfo folder for Squad[RACE]Bomber and Squad[RACE]Combat. Make a new mod folder and make a GameInfo folder inside that. Place the text versions and modify. Test with the Diplomacy DEV.exe in the games root folder.
