Correct me if im wrong, but i was under the impression that meshes were not version specific, that you could effectively take 1.0 meshes and drop them into a 1.03 Entrenchment mesh folder and build a entity file and away we go!!! 
At least so far that has been my experience, other than trying to resize binary files, haha, which i didnt know at the time, and so it crashed, probably because it was mangled. But converted to text first the resize works, and i didnt think they werre changed by the entity file changes. The mesh files reference the textures and the vertices, as i remember, its been a few weeks since ive been in a mesh file. But i thought it would work with any version.
Someone who has been around longer than me can probably say for sure.
