I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good programs to use to create ships for sins if you do i would appreciate the info and maybe a link to where i can get said program thanks. This will help me to create some new mods for the game.
3ds max but it isn't free.
3ds max 9 (30 day trial) or softimage XSI which has a free demo version, although its really limited.
Wings 3D is awsome,

I Have been told it has some limits, but since I am not really a moddeller, I don't quite understand them
ok i got softimage 7.5 mod tool, im creating a borg sphere and everytime i try to apply a texture to it the texture does not go on right it stretches out over the model and around the center it looks like crap does anyone have a good texture file for a borg sphere and know how to put it on right.
Did you UV map it?
i was following the tutorial on how to do it and it suggested using the xz mapping or top down mapping but i guess i could give the uv mapping a try. i appreciate the advide ill let you know how it turns out.
