So Capture the Flag is good, Deathmatch is set and Assault kicks ass....think it's time to create a 4th alternative sins game mode >>> SURVIVAL <<<
Now the concept for this game mode would be to have Imminent pirate raids in increasing difficulty and spawn time (SOMEONE TELL ME IF ITS POSSIBLE TO MAKE PIRATE RAIDS APPEAR CLOSER AND CLOSER IN TIME? please) which would randomly attack anyone in sight (IS there a way to disable the ATTACK HIGHEST BOUNTY ONLY?).
Now the map layout would be like a bracelet...with 8 dead asteroids (with only 500hp) surrounding a central planet (the Pirate Base). All 7 Da's will be linked to this Pirate Base so that raids can go ANYWHERE.
The game layout would be that both teams start with a preset DA with set buildings say 2 frigate factories, 1 capship factory, MAX LABS, some basic static D but a predefined balanced fleet.
Now in the 7 DA's, you will have 1 of them that will contain one crystal and one metal extractor which will grant very good income to the player that captures and holds it!
Point of the game would be to SURVIVE as long as you can to the pirate raids which, whatever happens, will become overwhelming powerful!! Be the last one standing sort of speak!
By capturing the neutral asteroids (wont be able to build ANYTHING on them except for static D) or by annihilating the opposing fleet....!!
So how does this sound?
