I have also recently encountered the problem with uninstalling Entrenchment. I actually want to uninstall all of Sins for now, but get an XML error every time I make the effort ("There is an error in XML document (28,8)"). I absolutely LOVE the game though stardock and wanted to thank you for all the great work you have put into it; unfortunately, I am at university and actually cannot function properly with your product on my computer, it is worse than Sherlock Holmes' snuffbox and is totally throwing off the rest of my life. So until reading break I wish you ado, so long as I can uninstall this devestating product. Please, be a nice dealer and let me kick the habbit for a bit!
Not necessarily of consequence, I just thought I would put my two cents of opinion in about Entrenchment in this first and final post for some time. I love it so far, but the mines still need some reworking as it requires a great deal of micromanagement to employ scouts properly. This seems like quite the flaw given Sins' otherwise excellent extrication of micromanagement. Also, anti-structures have become slightly too cheap in this version, or perhaps too powerful. And finally, is it just me or is the AI much EASIER than ever before? I am getting the disconcerting feeling the UNFAIR aggressive really doesn't fight like it used to -- it may be an entrenchment thing, or perhaps just this particular beta update did something to the code, but I am having an easy time with unfairs of all stripes. I miss the challenge of not having to play against 3 teams at once!
Oh ya, and one more thing. I am away at school, as mentioned, and do not have my CD KEY WITH me. One thing I love about Impulse (and am suffering for) is that I don't need it to reinstall the product. However, it doesn't seem to go as far as registering online when I go to create an account to kick online-but. Is there a method for me to determine my CD-KEY either in-programme or in impulse?
Thanks again for all the great work and best of luck in you ongoing efforts. I look forward to the end of February and a long train-ride with Sins!
Pax, vel Bellum... one is much more fun.
