Creating a Sins Campaign?

Since the game doesn't come with a campaign mode, I'm wondering what the possibilities would be for creating a campaign where a pre-established TEC with advanced worlds is fending off Vasari forces, while a massive Advent fleet with only a handful of planets is positioned on the edge of the sector. Would it be possible to give each side researched techs, additional fleet units, and high-level capital ships? In addition, has anyone yet tried to make such a map?

So to answer your question:

1) Making a campaign is possible... but is only a set of maps form galaxyforge used for a certain purpose. Furthermore, if you want high-level caps, researched Tecs,etc...the only way to do that is to create the map. Go on Ironclad online and create yourself 3 accounts!

Start all three on ironclad online, if you cant ask some buddies (ME) and give each player a sheet of directive with what research you want ihm to do, how many ships you want him to make (and the type of each), where you want 'em positioned...caputre or no capture of other worlds..ETC until the map resembles EXACTLY the STARTING POINT OF YOUR CAMPAIGN! With that done, save file. Go into save folder (same place as mod directory), extract your saved game as well as the map file AND POST IT TOT HE COMMUNITY!

Congrats man, you now have your very first mission on the epic campaign you are creating!
