Its a great idea, except the Mass Effect government isn't quite that simple, with just the Council, the Systems Alliance, and the Reapers/Geth.Even though the Turians have a seat on the Council, there is still the Turian Hierarchy.Asari may be the founders of the Council, but there is still a separate Asari government (well, they don't really have a government TBH).Salarians have a Council seat, but the Salarians still have their own separate semi-feudal government.A Council fleet would be doable, but the Turians aren't in the Council to foster harmony, its to use that power for the good of the Turian race. Salarians? A nice comfy Council seat gives a lot of protection against being attacked. No-one wants to piss off a Council member, and attacking their species will do that.So to be realistic, we would need the Council, the Systems Alliance, the Turian Hierarchy, the Salarians, and the Reapers/Geth.Balancing all those factions will be tough, especially when the Reapers get involved, seeing as how[SPOILER]They are an unstoppable race of A.I. dreadnoughts.[END SPOILER]Of course, for balancing, we can go by species and their tactics in general, with Turians focusing on lots of armor and kinetic shielding, Salarians on high-powered lasers and knowing everything about everything and everyone, the Systems Alliance using combined arms tactics and highly mobile fleets, and the Reapers on swarming the enemy with disposable Geth until they get a Conduit running and a Reaper shows up and blows everything to bits.
Yes well I was under the presumption you couldnt add more factions you could only convert the existing factions.
But yes thats true the 3 races of the council would really have to be seperated if such a mod was to be accurate but beause they bassicaly share ship design seperating them would basicalyy be having differant factions with the same capital ships dreadnoughts and some other ships that would have to be thought up.
Ya the kinetic barriers wouldnt be hard to simulate just change the name of the kol battleships sheilds and give the ability to every capital ship.
Also do you think it would be possible to make a versioon of the citadel the problem with that is that you would have to destroy the citadel and it would just seem wrong for it not to be destroyed.
