Did anybody get this working as a mod rather than copying over the original files? I am probably missing something stupid but I can't get it to work, any help much appreciated, cheers.
Looks like it's not in the format to be used as a mod with the manager.

Should be in the skirmish options. Either the modification to the UI I made isn't supported or I made a mistake but I think everything is in order.
After a few Artemis and Cronuses attack you might change your stance on it, it's quite frustrating. Nice work on the mod though, always good to see some.
Do the long range units still backpedal?
Updated to newest version of the game, more details here http://www.moddb.com/mods/all-factionsprebuilt-extractors/downloads/all-factionsprebuilt-extractors-option
Can mods only be played with the -modding launch option? I'd rather play with mods in DX12. I might be able to answer some basic modding questions too if somebody has any.
Are you sure the other system ran the CPU benchmark? Here's a thread with an 1800x's benchmark. https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/483627/page/1/#3682496 I don't think the CPU benchmark really matters anyway, the GPU one and normal gameplay is what matters.
I've been using a cursor I made myself for months now, you can replace the cursor by going to the install of the game>assets>UI>Art>Cursors and replace SUnormal with a new cursor, just make sure to rename the new one to SUnormal.
TAG Utter, Lone_Ninja or Luxlupus could point you in the right direction.
Substrate AI is just better, the 2 factions are quite well balanced right now.
I think if you want to change speed go to Assets>Formations>FlockerTemplates and edit Max Velocity.
I'm pretty sure the UI can be scaled up in 4K, it's somewhere in the options, I don't know if the cursor is affected though.
Nice to see somebody making mods for Ashes.
I think your CPU framerate looks fine, it's 22FPS higher than my own http://imgur.com/a/VDG0e . I know it's not a Ryzen CPU, but it's still a pretty decent one, it was running at 3.85GHz.
Isn't the 770 the bottleneck?
Modders working on spider units? Sounds like Tag Utter is trying to revive the Monkeylord.
Securing all quantam beacons doesn't fill the optional objective or do anything.
I agree that the first mission you get the PHC Juggernaut is tougher than the others, I really like the new campaign and Juggernauts though.
Updated now.
Last time I was playing Ashes it worked when I was playing with a friend, so it still should.
You can play the original's campaign in Escalation, so you're probably better off that way. In skirmish and multiplayer customs you can set it that relays don't need to be connected to get resources, there's no mods to change how either of them are. Escalation has much more defences so it's viable to turtle down against AI. The building placement is something you'll have to get familiar with and know where to place, I'd rather if it was like FA's visible grids. <p
Holding shift will let you queue up multiple commands for movement or buildings, an orbital nullifier will protect an area from abilities. Das Unding is one of the best Ashes players so his videos should give a better idea on how to play the game. https://www.youtube.com/user/paulstanik/videos
Those maps sound like a really good idea, there's definitely a good audience for something like them. Slightly off topic but have saves been fixed? They always worked for me before but wouldn't at all in multiplayer last time I was playing.
You'd have to wait for a sale but they're fairly frequent. G2A is an illegal key reseller so it's not supported by developers.
Not entirely, Supreme Commander was really a sequel to TA.
