I have an intermittent issue where a separator is missing between This PC and Control Panel. See screenshots. I'm running W11 beta, 22000.160. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm just wondering, would it not be possible to set a gradient title bar by just selecting two colors? Instead of having to make an actual image file with the gradient. I thought I was able to just select (two) colors or let them be auto selected based on wallpaper and then it would apply a gradient. From left to right or the other way around. If I do have to make an image file myself, what dimensions should it have, what file type should it be saved as, etc... It would

But you fail to provide details about the texture format, transparency settings, etc... You can't just take any texture and expect it to work exactly as the built in texture. See two captures, one with Windows on Dark theme, the other on Light theme. Compare the angle stripes, surely I'm not the only one who finds it very difficult to see the angle stripes with the light theme? Wanting for the angle stripes to actually be somewhat visible with the light theme is not a feature request.
That's disappointing, what seems to be the problem? Is there another support channel I can use?

Hi Basj, That, I already know. I need some specific instructions, like best file type, best resolution, how does the accent color work for these textures, etc... I'm not a graphic artist, so it's going to be a challenge either way. Or, the developer can just open up small angle stripes, make the stripes a little thicker and release it in an update. Hello there, With the new light theme of the 1903 update to Windows 10, I've started using a new background texture for the start menu and taskbar, "Small Angle Stripes" for both. I find that with the light theme, the small stripes are a bit too small. For the dark theme, they are better. The Large Angle Stripes on the other hand, are too big. How I pinned it? Right click > Pin to Start menu (Start10) The issue is not the pinning, also with unpinned items, the tasks are throwing the error. And again, the tasks do work with Windows' own start menu.
My post referred to the Recent Items list, not to Search results. I made the recommended changes anyway and it makes no difference. At the very least, the GUIDs in my screenshot should be replaced with the proper names.
I followed the instructions, same issue. In fact, I checked the tasks of some other programs and the issue seems to occur with more programs. Such as Edge and Snip & Sketch.
Is it normal that things other than actual files are showing up in the recent items list? The highlighted items are out of place. I think some of those are control panel items? Is there a way to just see normal files there? I'm using Start10 on Windows 10, both fully updated.
I have the Sticky Notes app (version 3.0.119.0) pinned to the start menu. The tasks displayed when you hover over Sticky Notes (New note; All notes; Settings) are not working. I get the following error when clicking on them: The blanked out portions refer to my Windows username. If I go to Windows' own start menu, the tasks do work

After testing Start10 a couple of days, I purchased a license today. I must agree, the ability to re-order the shortcuts is a must-have! And a very simple thing to accomplish, you would think.
