Iron Engine 3 is a custom 64-bit multicore engine, so it may support Vulkan.
In another thread, they made it clear that it won't, sadly.
Windows 10/11 64-bit only. No plans for Linux and definitely no on earlier Windows versions. That said, it's entirely possible it'll eventually work on Proton, but that's a long ways off.
Fair enough. It's a shame, I was elated to hear of a sequel.

So that's a complete no for Linux gamers, or anyone not on the newest Windows OS, eh? Kinda sucks, was really looking forward to the sequel.

This is one thing I hope they change. I have Linux and Windows 7 in dual boot. Going Windows 10/11 only kinda sucks for me, because it means I won't be picking up the game. I hope they go forward with Vulkan rather than DX12, given that the latter locks it down.
