The 2K forums are probably considered a part of their advertising by 2K, so the censorship and fanboys are to be expected. CivFan is different, they're supposed to be somewhat independent. I used to lurk there looking for Civ2&3 info back before Civ4 came out. It was fairly mello back then. But when Civ4 came out, it became fanboy city. I don't understand why people are so down of Shafer. Didn't he take that turkey Johnson created with Civ4 and improve it with the extensions?
