There is a really good game in Demigod, so much is true. It is so different from the other RPGs and from the strategy games. It is a great blend and there is much to like about this game. However, if the game will not get some good matchmaking system you will always find yourself waiting for matches in the pantheon or getting set up to lose in the custom games. Eventually this will be no fun at all. For a multiplayer game, the functionality of the MP aspect is surprisingly lacking. If

I indeed realised that fightning the minions was not an option, but I new that already from playing single player tourneys. I do not think I touched one of the minions? The portal locking was what killed us in the end, but that would have been annoying regardless. By that time we had long lost. I was also surprised how extremely unwise it is to fight 2 DGs even for a moment. but anyways, the minions probably could use some nerving because that enemy Erebus was pretty much unto

Some of the things make a lot of sense, but also some of these things are highly advanced stuff. Knowing exactly when to get what in the citadel comes to mind... It takes quite a big chuink of experience to know those things. In a month from now, your views on your current strategies may have changed quite a lot so even you may consider the things that you do now quite nooby in a month. Another one is not strict enough like the dying twice in under 3 mins in. I think dying even once 3

As a beta tester - tested a dozen or so games - I can safely say that unstable programs or exploits are not always the result from improper testing. Some of the issues can be detected with simulations - like 'will this game crash if I order any move on any point on the map in any map?' or 'will me demigod find it's way to any point X from anywhere on the map?' Other issues can only be found by humans such as skills not working like they are supposed to. Anyway, no matter how much
Just try to coordinate your efforts with your team mates to the best of your ability. You cannot expect premades to go away, that's common to every online game of this nature with good reason. People want to play with their friends, it's obviously more fun to do so. You can do the same or even arrange a premade vs premade match if you wish. Also, 10 games isn't a large sample size, making your "test" inconclusive at best. Abou

The improvements hat Frogboy suggests would all be very nice. However we all know money is an issue everywhere and the gaming industry is no exception.Better not to get our hopes up, but I would very much like to see the suggested changes indeed. If nothing else, new maps are always welcome to keep things fresh, as are new demigods. New playmodes would also be great, as I can imagine that this game in capture the flag mode would be great fun. If the resources for this gam

When down 2 levels on your opponent it is a sure sign that the opposition is plain better than you are. Against a better player a comeback would be very rare indeed, because not only do you need to catch up, but you also must overtake these better players. All in all the better players should win in most of the cases, making comebacks very rare indeed. That sounds like a completely natural thing to me. @TrubEEE: I am sure the other team did not notice the 'our defenses are under attac
I couldn't possibly care less about the useless stats. But for a competitive game the same set of rules need to apply to all players involved. That includes the same availablility of favor items for all players. Some players having favor items and others not having favor items destroys the balance of the game. Now we need to wait a lot of time until all players have collected enough favor so that balance gets
I feel angry sometimes (well, all the time, but thats another story), about people who rage quit and those that refuse to listen then rage quit. e.g. A Regulus stands toe to toe with an UB and EB, they die. Fair enough. I say, dont go two against one, wait for help, or come help us, or stack health if they are a rook with less health than my fairy build Reg. Do they listen? Nooooo. Fair enough, they have no obligation to listen to m

It could be made so then that buying an item grants you an instant boost to the health or mana, and that picking an item up from the floor does not. With health though I do not see this as such a huge issue since no one would possibly intentionally exploit that. Your strategy should not revolve around losing health to use this trick. It is too risky to do that. With health this exploit could be useful on occasion, but not gamebreaking. With mana though you will want to do

The item was made way, WAY more situational. On large maps you may very well find yourself buying this item still. On the smaller ones there are now other considerations. Good games are all about interesting choices. The HoL was a tad powerful. I bought the game yesterday and only got to play around with it a bit, and wow... That item was godlike. Right now the item has you thinking twice before buying it. The choice now is to safe or buy something else. It is interesting enough for m

[e digicons]k2[/e] Maybe it will get abused a bit, I think for most players the hassle of doing this is enough to put them off. Some few who get comfortable doing this might benefit. the solution proposed here - that the added mana from items add to you rmax mana and not current mana - is an elegant solution. It seems like a right choice to implement that.

Of coursesales sales dictate the amount of support a game will get, and I think it is remarkable that Frogboy is openly stating that it is indeed so. From a salesman point of view it is very, very dangerous what Frogboy is saying. Something along the lines of 'we assure you we are doing everything in our power' would be more wise. The people from Creative Assembly are masters at this. They support Empire: Total War is going way further than the support for Demigod btw, so the support
