Yarlen, Can we ask the people who wrote the "Iron Engine" if the 9950X3D2 will be better than 9950X3D in the late game with huge fleets and mods out the ears? Short of that it seems like we have to take the word of hardware reviewers who don't play Sins everyday. If I wrote it I would want to know. Can we ask?

Yarlen, Thank you for helping. You had me at overkill. By the way I had one of these messages pop up: Unable to verify that you are not a robot. Please try again. Device Name RedDwarf Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor&

To the people who offered links to search engines in the above 3 referrals, thank you. I am trying to find an answer to this question not just for me but for our community. I was hoping Yarlen or someone with technical knowledge beyond my own or perhaps someone with practical experience testing chips like the 9950X3D2 would have stepped up and offered something. Maybe Yarlen or somebody will in the future. As far as I know Sins 2 is not part of any tech channel's test suite so I came

Thinking of upgrading to Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition. Reviewers are saying it's a stupid product aimed at no one. Reviewers are also saying AMD will probably never build a chip like this again. Sins 2 is said to use all the cores you can throw at it. Sooner or later the price on this chip will fall out of orbit. Will Sins 2 put this chip to good use? Will it shine in the late game?

Basically just a 64 bit multi-threaded version of Rebellion that can run mods without slowing down or crashing in late game. Maybe improved mod support. Improved single player AI strategy would also be welcome. Maybe 6 additional new factions to choose from. All I hoped for was a better Rebellion. backs out of the room slowly... <img style="display: inline-block; vertical-a

I don't think anything in the game should be neon but the ships just look goofy in those colors. I understand other people will have opinions different from mine but I would personally not play it if those were the only colors available. Sorry for the late response. :)

I went under the settings/graphics and didn't find an option to change color schemes. Is this a "future" ability in the finished game you are referring to?

Hey Jaswitha12 I'm sorry if you never received a response on this. I actually don't come to the forums that often. You probably already answered this question for yourself. :) My two cents is that Sins, Stellaris and Endless Space 2 (ESP2) play very differently. I always approach these games the same way I read a novel: a heavy dose of suspended disbelief. <span style="font-weight: bold; color: #bfbfbf; font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: #

Will there be a way to get rid of the Miami Vice-ness of the game? Everything is very shiny and neon saturated. (The 80's called they want their palette back.)
Hmm, probably not in the cards but who knows?
What about sponsoring official, sanctioned, backed by Stardock, mods as DLC? They would have to be mods that didn't duplicate existing intellectual property (IP) like Star Wars or Star Trek but new IP ideas wouldn't be a problem. The Sins modding community has some wonderful talent and would be more than up to the task. Playing against the Borg as in

Could we have an independent first person observer window (camera) that we could move around? A second (windowed only) instance of the view we have now as the player. Maybe something I could drag to a second monitor? Sins is a beautiful game but I always end up playing from 40,000 feet so I can see what is happening across the whole map (zooming in for structure placement and battles). We miss out on so much of the cool stuff that's happening below us. If we c
