I've been using Winstep Xtreme for a while now (ever since GAotD) on my Win 7 64 bit computers and as much as I used to love OD, the problems with the 64 bit OS were too much. I also love the fact that the themes can skin all the docks, shelves and task bar at once. I like to match my Windowblinds and my Winstep themes. I do miss the tabbed docks you could use like pull-out drawers but I love the sub docks too. You <str

Then again . . . What good is having the newest technology if there's nothing to take advantage of it? I don't have USB 3 on my computer but my 2TB external drive has a USB 3 interface. I don't see anything for Intel's super fast bus yet. Also, USB 3 is backwards compatible, so that's a BIG plus!
I switched to 64 bit when I upgraded to Win 7. I have only had problems with OLD programs and games not working. I am striving for the future, not hanging on to the past! I already had this 64 bit quad core computer (although it only has 3 GB of RAM, so I don't NEED a 64 bit OS) I figured if I was gonna change the OS anyway, I might as well go 64 bit as well.
Hyperspeed and a whole bunch of other things were removed because of copyright infringement. Apparently the person didn't have permission to use the video in the SCR.
Sheila never understood why she couldn't stay under longer. She just seemed to run out of air quickly!
YAY! [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] Sounds like another winning app! (But I still miss Right Click)
I like this! [e digicons][/e]
Bootskins are only for XP, They don't have a Bootskin program for Vista or 7. If you click on Explore (near the top between Home and Articles), you get a page where you can choose to view the different skin categories. Logon Studio XP would be logons for XP (obviously), wheras Logon Studio would be for (as it says) Vista and 7. I think depending on if you are a Wincustomize subscriber (as I am), Under Explore Filters</stron
[e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] Congratulations! I have had and subsequently removed many, many, many (too many) desktop enhancing programs and shell replacements but windowblinds has remained and been added to all my computers since I first started using it!&nb
All you have to do is double click on the desktop to hide all fences and the icons within. If they are hidden when you turn off your machine, they should be hidden when you start up. I have the Pro version but it should be the same with the free.
I assume you are right dragging a rectangle and not just right clicking? When you let go of the right button, a pop up should come up saying: "create new fence here". Works for me on Win7 64.
I have been seriously considering purchasing this (Winstep) since last weekend! I had even downloaded the free Nexus version to test. Imagine my surprise when I found the Exreme version this morning for FREE! I was almost late for work because I wanted to download and install it right away so I wouldn't forget like I have with a few other deals. To top it all off, a seriously inexpensive upgrade offer! WIN WIN! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
As much as I loved RightClick, and will surely miss it, I have been using PowerPro to create menus for years. It isn't as easy as RightClick or as easily skinnable, but it still works with my Win7 64 bit and it's FREE ! [e digicons]:D[/e] (it also does button bars, macros, hot keys, messages/alarms, task
I would like a comprehensive tutorial on ObjectDock and the various settings in the .ini file. Especially the new 2.0 stuff!
I tried my hand at this project, although I didn't use Photoshop or any other raster program. [e digicons][/e]
Who needs a Start Button? I'm starting a protest movement against Start Buttons. Calling it "Start Buttons? Nuttin Buttons!". They're easy to skin, too.
Yeah, Who needs a button on the screen when there's a dedicated key for that? With OD, Fences, DX and other programs, I too only use my
Now this. Will the madness never end??? Of course not, It's called Progress!
Figured I'd better get this up before I miss another month! Wall is called Grunge Hero by RedNeckDude . It used to be red before I used Deskscapes on it, with 3 different combined FX! (Textured, Underbright and Edge Enhance)
Yay! [e digicons][/e] I have a few triggered dreams, including Blissful that I have never seen triggered ! [e digicons]:S[/e] (I have 692 dreams on my system at this moment, down from over a thousand!)
Although you can change the graphic used, (It's just a .PNG file) the month and day number would still be slanted, as it is programmed to do that. I think most people just use either Rainlendar or DesktopX calendars these days.
There IS a " browse for image " button on the bottom, after you select Edit Icon - Change Image . It's below the folders on the left hand side. I wish you could save different folder locations. I also wish it remembered where you went the last time and had it come up as the default
Type "trails" in the search box in the upper right (without the quotes)
So......If I have high blood pressure I should cut my own vegetables?
I have ODNT Ultimate on Win 7 64 and I use: Windowblinds 7 DeskScapes 3 Fences Pro Logon Studio Icon Packager Desktop X Object Dock is not part of ODNT and must be purchased separately. I have OD Pro and aside from Taskbar and Systray not working on 64 bit, I have had no problems. (OD 2 w/64 bit support coming soon!) No Bootskin for Win 7 WinFX is supposed to be get
Right Click on the fence you want to change. (This is from the Pro version)
