Thanks for the response. As for multiply, online,I think would be a utter waste of time, but multiply on lan only, would be great, that way if your opponent tried to quit out just because they where losing, you could go into the next room where they where and smash their face in. Well I think it deserves game of the year for the following reasons... 1 It's 100% addictive 2 For the hours entertainment it works out cheaper than a roast nat's widge. 3 Excellent support with th

Anyone know how you go about voting Gal Civ II for game of the year or can't 'Joe Public ' vote and its down to a bunch of dead-ed judge's.
Yeh! just a half baked bottom bean beta. Who needs it hu?
Hehe, you could be right there mate.
Well I would love to take part in the beta but I like to get my stuff from Play.com, it's a lot cheaper and faster and I want the box and goodies. I will be buying it, as Gal Civ II, for me, was the best game of the year despite the 10010 memory leaks. Anyways if we can acquire a list of all those p reordering and beta testing then if it does turn out crap we have someone to blame.
Don't you think it's unfair to only let people that pre-order the game have the beta release? It's like making people pay to do the testing for you, and in the end people that pre-order the game might find on final release that the game to be a bucket of crap and their money wasted.
Been there, done that, bought the space ship.
I have never finished a game playing on anything larger than a medium map becuase of memory leaks, it was there when the game was first released and is still there unfixed. Mind you Im a mug, everytime a new update comes out I give it another go and just as the game starts to get good CTD everytime. I don't see this ever getting fixed now, shame.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, would have been better if you could have had the extended 3 routes though, would have made more sense if you get my drift. For all the silly little bugs this has to be the best game I have played in years, great work.
This bug is as old as the hills and they still haven't fixed it. At the council meeting you all vote to extend the trading lanes by 3, but you don't get the extra 3 lanes. Are the council meeting thing just decoration and don't actually work. Another big bug is if you upgrade a line of ships and some of those ships are in the process of being built then the process freezes until you go to the planet and reassign the build of that ship. Another, not a game stopper but signif
