Well, i love combat, but i can't stand combat all the time, i love a good old peaceful time to build up my empire, but the thing i have noticed is that i read the beginner guide and created a race that it specified and i got a cultural victory and i never fired a shot. It was with those evil monkeys (not sure what they are called), well, in the beginning, they declared war on me, so i had to mass-produce Defenders (which is all we both had)

Mine just down right crashes. I did a small galaxy game against 1 race and i won a cultural victory without firing a shot i might add and i got a mere 7k in points and when the 'do you want to upload this score to metaverse?' it crashed there....i have been doing some modding, but i think metaverse has its own folder, which i haven't touched, i might reinstall GalCiv 2 tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. I am off to bed....

Well, its not like i don't want to fight the AI, its just that i like it when i deserve it. Its like on Master of Orion 2, when i used Biological Weapons, all the other races banded together and all declared war on me. lol Just imagine: you vs the universe. It was a good job i was more advanced, cause every 10 turns, i got attacked with waves of like 10 Titans. lol (2nd biggest ship you can make...if you haven't played

Don't Understand the AI in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hello All, i just do not understand the AI in GalCiv 2. I thought the Altarians were good guys, you know......saints, but how come when i was playing a race being good as well, that they decided that they wanted to enslave my people and then the galaxy??? I never understand AI now-a-days, its always the following: strong vs AI = AI wants all peace and alliances weak vs AI = AI wants all war and domination<br/

not that i could see, i used a all pick race thing, where you could max out all abilities for the fun of it and when i replaced the edited ones with the backed up originals, the human race is screwed up. lol If you modify the Story Campaign Human Race, it affects the custom game human race, which is a pity. I think they need to insert a default race templates.

oh no, not another nerf posting....you should only get the word 'nerf' in Online games, not these type of games. Well, you could just sell them when you get them if you are concerned of the game being too easy.

Hello All in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hiya All, i have just ordered Galactic Civilizations 2 and i look forward to playing it, i just hope it has good auto-building AI (like on Master of Orion 2) you know, where you tell the planet to auto-build and as soon as a building becomes available, it immediately starts building it. Alot of the other Space Strategy games i have played have had some basic stuff, but never beating Orion 2, lets hope this one does.
