After reading this thread, I decided to give Edge a second look. It seems ok, but as far as I can tell it's not noticeably faster than Chrome, and once I imported bookmarks, getting them to the bar at the top was a hassle. It's not a bad browser, but I see no compelling reason to switch.

That certainly could work, but IMO, would still have a cluttered look within the main fence. Also, the main fence would take up a lot of desktop real estate. The Object dock took up very little.
