yes i did. and it works, excpet that it uses to much ram, compared on what u get, so i dont like to use it. but thats not the problem, the problem is, that when FX loads, my original icon order gets disarranged, as soon as i use large icons with FX. I rearrange the icons while using FX, but as soon as i reboot, the icons are disarranged again.

Windows FX and Desktop Icon in WindowFX Stardock Forums

Hi Everytime i try to use Windows FX to make large Desktop Icons, the order and the placing area of my Desktop Icons change. I rearrange them back, but as soon as i restart my PC, the icons are back as WindowsFX seems to like it, and not as i did arrange them. When i unload WindowsFX, the icon order is back as i originally arranged them. Is there any way around to keep your own Icon structure when using WindowsFX thanks

It looks great. And i love the idea of getting the whole package. That`s actually what i expected it to be when i ordered my first Object Desktop subscription. I like the new skin studio, and also the fact that its gonna be more task orientated. I tough hope the new IconX eats less RAM. I think it uses to much compared what you get out of it. Just nicer Desktop Icons. So i mostly dont use it, and use WindowsFX or Icon Packager to get big Icons. Anyhow I cant wait to get OD 2008

@Ordes I thought it through and came to the conclusion that the interaction without copying probably wont work. Whic is also not that important for me. What really is important for me, is if it works between a Vista and a XP machine. I didnt buy my second machine yet, and i will only keep the first when i can interact between Xp and Vista. Otherwise there wont be much use to keep the old one. And either i will keep or not my first, im gonna have to shop different for my new sys

Weather docklet wont work correctly in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

Hi The weather dock of object Dock 1.9 makes me some troubles. I cant get the information of: China- Beijing. I tried all different ways of typing: *Beijing *Beijing, China *China, Beijing * Beijng China *Peking, China *Peking It doesnt find the loation. The docklet works fine with other cities like munic or berlin. So i have connection. Ialso checked on accuweather.com, they refer to Beijing, China (beijing). But didnt work neither. They have the data as i can see on theri www. But

Hi I basicly understood how it works. But i still got some questions. 1. Can i use/edit a file on pc2 with pc1, without copying first on pc1? e.g i stored couple of video and doc files on pc2, can i watch and read them directly from pc1, and edit them? 2. Im thinking of getting an new system, and gonna install Vista on it. Will multiplicity run between pc1-Vista and pc2-XP?

Popup menu and icons in RightClick Stardock Forums

Hi, I just tried the trial version of Right Click. And as far as I see there is no opportunity to add an Icon for a popup menu. Is this because it`s the trial or is it in the enchanced software also like this? Im not sure if this is the right forum place, but i couldn`t find any link for suggestions. Because this would be one. That you can also add Icons to a popup menu, like you can do with Object Dock.

Hello, i just started with desktopx. i created new objects, using corel draw. saved the object as png, took the background out, but when i load it in desktopx, the background is there again. can anybody provide me some tipps how to get rid of those backgrounds. i am using corel and adobe photoshop. and what software do you use for drawing/creating new objects. thanks
