If you're talking about the "Oxidized Desktop" available through the WC store....do you have icon packager and object desktop installed? These are required to get the icons and gadgets.
Typing in Zubish isn't hard once you've had your first stroke. Understanding it takes two or three more.
:d LMAO!
It's not like anyone doesn't understand what I mean, right?
It's only because we all speak Zubish now as an alternative language! ;)
Snide postings are a waste, MM.
Wasn't meant to be snide. Many of the same questions I've seen in these forums over the past years are from brand new folks to WC and the world of desktop customization. As Zuby said, they download the skins and have no clue as to how to get them onto their desktop. 9 times out of 10 they don't have windowblinds installed and don't know they need to have it.
What an idiot. I have purchased and downloaded skins. I do not have the talent that the skinners have. However, i do realize that it takes time and effort to produce a high quality product and these folks have the right to do what they want with the fruits of their labor. Where is this losers (or cheapskate) sense of entitlement coming from? I'm sure he would not go to work for 40 hours a week and not expect to be paid (presuming he has adequate employment). What a GOON!!!!
<b

Is it something as simple as looking at a folder on windows or is there a program/software required to see the files?
Once you have the drive/folders set up in linux as a samba share, you will be able to access them in windows just like any other drive or folder. I'm currently running Fedora 8 on one of my boxes and I use it as a

UGH!! Emails like this just really bug me :( . Many times I think that the price our masters charge just isn't enough. The talent these people possess is second 2 none. IMHO some of the best graphic artists in the world are right here providing exquisit work for an incredibly reasonable price. Geeze, I would gladly bring John, Harley, Javier, Brad or Mike and the countless others on staff for me at $0.10/hr! Try unloading wb from your system and see how long you can go w/ the standard win

Sorry to hear that your leaving for a while. Things just won't be quite the same around here without you. Please don't stay away long. From the bottom of my heart, I hope all goes well for you and you finally get that "me" time that so many of us don't have but desperately need. You'll have to shoot us some pics of that house of yours when it's all done!! Take care my friend!
