Scary thing is, I can remember typing in the binary code to play games on the Vic 20, the C64 was a goodsend :)

Anyone remember when BYTE magazine was pushing a gadget to read programs into your computer as barcodes? This was when I was using a machine with 8-inch floppies and longed to be rich enough to afford a hard drive.

I still have the Original Compute! and Family Computing magazines from the 80s. BTW BYTE has an online magazine at www.byte.com
