Terrible question this, but does someone fancy explaining the metaverse briefly.

I never play any online gaming, but may well start with this one.

This is not a online game.

To me it looks like the Metaverse is a way to compare your standing against everybody else.

The Metaverse also records your winning strategies enabling SD to improve the AI.

It has been implemented in the Metaverse, but not in GalCiv itself, IIRC.

That, if I had to guess, will probably happen once most of the rest of the game is feature complete, so that the AI isn't trying to use tactics that are unusable due to altered or recently added features.

Good question. With all of the new stuff in Beta 3 I can't imagine what use strategies for Beta 2 there would be. But Brad may have been using it already for all I know.
