My time here is slipping away,
it flies right by, I can't make it stay.
But that doesn't mean I've dissappeared.
It doesn't mean I will ever forget.

I still am here, among familiar surroundings,
even as this time speeds on by me,
I'm still here for you, patiently holding on,
I'm here to make things ok again.

And what ever direction I can go,
will change who and what I know,
but I refuse to forget you, I refuse
to let all these beautiful memories slide away.

How could I forget you?
How could I forget your smiling face?

Nothing we have done will ever begin
to leave my heart, to see the end.
Don't think things like that.
Hearts have been broken by far less.

How could I forget you? I couldn't if I tried.
How could I forget? I won't, ever. Don't cry.

Show me that you remember what it was like to smile again.

Show me that you remember what it was like to smile again.


When I see you tomorrow I will show you what it was like to smile again. I want to see you smile and laugh. I want you to be happy not sad, I want you to feel like everything is okay, that things are right, and you have nothing to worry about. I don't want to cry, I don't want to be sad. I want to feel like I use to, happy, bubbley, and glowing with light, because I know everything was going to be alright.
