Double your luck and have none?

I've played 3 games recently where my political party has been universalists and I have also chosen an addition +25 luck for the terran race. It seems though that with only +25 luck as a part of the Universalists I was really lucky, getting precursor ships all the time, planet quality bonuses...etc However when I went and added the luck bonus to the Terran race attriibutes, nada, nuthin....no luck at all. Could this be a bug where +50 luck is actually less luck y than +25 luck? Anybody else find this to be true or am I just unlucky?

I wondered about that myself because it seems whenever I tried it that way, it was counter-productive, so as a result I rarely take the +50 luck path

Yeah, I agree with CM above. Last game I took Universalists and Luck and ended up with four Lucky Rangers.

The game before that with Uni. and Luck I got a 35 class planet event. :HOT:

Luck. *grumble* I once rolled six ones, on six six-sided dice (my own dice, too), in a game where ones are bad and all ones are VERY bad. I must have offended some Random Number God many, many times.

I am a polytheist. I believe in Dice Gods and Card Gods. The former explain why you always do bad at the craps table, the later explain why you always do bad at poker.

One time, playing Axis and Allies, I rolled 46 dice. I was looking for ones or twos. On average you'd expect to get about 15 successes. I, in this pivotal battle, received 3.

Ironically, I suppose, I was Germany attacking Stalingrad.

I see your problems, it's a Goddess, not a God. This is something I myself see a woman having her hand in. A male God is the reason he stubbed your toe in the morning, it's a Goddess you can blame for losing all your money in Vegas.

But then again she is the reason why you taske the house too. So I guess, take the bad with the good and try and keep the Goddess in good moods and you will live a joyful life. Piss her off and your life will be a living hell.

But that is a topic too big for a messege board, anyways, we have games to play and as long as she doesn't get in my way gaming, I am happy. Save this topic for when the power goes out, or when your standing in line at the pearly gates..
