Serial Number invalid !

Hi, i am french,

I bought my game on amazon.fr, i received it, intalled it (with the serial number), i opened an account on galciv.com and so on, I downloaded stardock central, but it was written that the serial number is invalid... at this time, it is a problem to take updates... a solution Strategy First ?

Tripple check that you entered the code in correctly with the dashes numbers/letters exact upppercase/lowercase parts of the code...otherwise it wont work. If it still does not work keep that receipt handy and contact amazon.fr about it. Im sure they have a support service

Did the message about invalid serial # appear after downloading Stardock central, when you were trying to download GalCiv ?

If so go to the tools menu(on Stardock Central), register products and make sure your serial is entered correctly here

Did you get one of the boxes where the serial number didn't have any hyphens or anything?

I have the same problem. I get a message "failed to validate your galactic civilizations registration information". Serial number is 100% correct. I bought this game yeasteday in shop in Poland (day of premiere). Box was OK. Help!

E-mail your serial number to me exactly as it appears on the cd case. A screenshot of the error window might also come in handy.

If you're getting the error code from the CD installer, try downloading the version from Stardock central.

Hi,

I have the same problem but I think I know why. The game I bought was second-hand. This probably means that the person who had it before registered it and their e-mail address is being mixed with mine.
I get the "failed to validate your GlaCiv registration info" every time I load Stardock central.
Guess I'm SOL and will have to wait for GalCiv II!
