problem submitting score

from Stardock Forums
ummm... anyone else having probs submitting scores..

they seem to be being transmitted ok (send status msgs etc) .. but it doesn't seem to be updating my scores..

I have just submitted a wopper 60,000 game thats taken me over a week to play

"Not happy Jan" (from yellow pages advert)

please HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP me if you can i'm feeling down!!!!

I have the same problem from work, I cannot submit from work, but I can from home, doesnot make any sense. :(

Does work have a firewall? Couldn't that do it?

I dunno if the firewall will do the problem, but I am trying just to save the game and then I send it home so I can post it from home.

ummmm.... now whats happened... :( all my scores have gone.. except for my test game I put up for cari elf girl... its strange.. in my personal scores they are all still there but in the empire scores its only that test game :(

Try to quit and rejoin empire. It may refresh your scores, Smeagol.

Apparently scores are sometimes getting submitted under the wrong name, either as "Enter A New Alias", if you never used another name, or as an old name if you have.  I'm putting in debug code so that I can try to figure out what's going wrong.  Unfortunately, it's never done it for me.  And I don't have direct access to the database, so I can't just go look up your missing games.  Then I have to pester Pat. :)

This doesn't help anyone getting lockups when trying to submit.  That one still has me stumped.

I just had the same problem...I haven't played in a long time. And I finally finished a game. It says successfully but the score isn't updated.

Scores and ranking may take awhile to re-calc as the metaverse database has gotten really huge. T-Man (aka Pat) is working on a solution to this problem, but I can't give any ETA on that because T-man is one of the most overloaded people here, and the cloning machine broke down last month.
