Hmm, another little thing I found (possibly mentioned before):

After clicking on next turn (automatic turn = off) it doesn't go on to the next turn but sort of freezes in place. I can do everything in the game except move on to the next turn. Save and reload fixes it. It's happened a couple of times before and occasionally it will fix it self after I've messed around a bit in the game... this time it didn't. (Tiny - Normal)

Walker: That's happened to me. Try clicking on a planet and going into the planet info screen. It always un-freezes it for me.

The mini-map has not been an issue for me so much because I never depended on scrolling the main map to move mini-map views. Do you have a scrollwheel on your mouse? That will zoom the mini-map in and out. I generally unzoom to the entire galaxy and click where I want to view closer, then zoom in. I know it seems like extra work, but scrolling through the main map is very, very tedious for me. Especially when I know right where I want to zoom to.

Walker: I used to have a problem sometimes with the game not going on to the next turn when I told it too, but the problem wasn't the game, it was user error :(

For some reason I would not notice that a colony ship had arrived at it's destination and needed me to choose the planet to land on. I would get into some other game screen and then not be able to figure out how to end the turn. Not a bug of course.

walker use your tab key. it should direct you to the unit that requires action to be taken. this should then sort it out for you.

Cari, it's not being accepted by the Metaverse. How do I put a link to my email address up here?

jeblackstar: Click on the button that lookls like an arrow going through two boxes (the tooltip says enlarge editor)

Then click on the icon that looks like a little chain. (ToolTip = insert web link)

mailto:[email protected]

Choose mailto and then type in your e-mail address.

The other stuff has been brought up previously and is on my list.

So many posts so little time. Don't know if any of these have been mentioned or if anyone is still monitoring this thread...

They surrendered to me... One was building a Dreadnaught. I haven't researched this tech yet. It was near to completion so I let it continue although I did not realize at the time that I did not have this tech. When the Dreadnaught was completed another was placed in the queue automatically. I dare not deselect it as this ship is not available in the build list.

I still cannot locate a ship on autopilot. Double clicking causes the ship to move if its turn is available. Otherwise double clicking does nothing.

I double clicked on a Colonyship that was docked... The game crashed.

Typo: "...put an end to this discussing trend." Uh, disgusting maybe?

When I'm working with a Governor, I want to see the tech description instead of the Senate. I am forced to go to a planet to look at the tech. The documentation does not describe the tech. There is no way to determine what a Social tech is without going to a planet screen and hoping the planet hasn't built it (social techs that is). There is no way to determine the cost of a completed tech when trading.

My popularity is second. So is the only other race. There are no minor races so whose popularity is 1st?

A system is threatening to rebel. They were originally within the influence of another race. Since then my influence has exceeded the other race and this planet is now within my influence. I have been spending money for decades(?) on propoganda to raise their morale and keep them from breaking. I have bought numerous buildings to raise their morale including a Propaganda Center with only temporary effects. The bonus is currently 165 yet it continues to drop. I am now convinced that this is a bug! There is absolutely nothing that can be done to reverse this, permanently! Once initiated it cannot be stopped! How about coding in a solution? I built a Spin Control and the Morale still dropped, they still want to rebel. The planet Quality was originally 14 even after other planet quality social projects were completed. I eventually managed to terraform the planet and the quality is now 16. The Morale now seems to be stable at 100 with no money spent on propaganda, yet they still want to rebel. Now after perhaps a decade, and "The Terraformer" completed, the planet quality is 18. There are no more "Morale" Social buildings and their morale has dropped to 56. Why do you pretend that something can be done in the warning (Details/Overview)? As I see it there are two ways to resolve this. DESTROY the colony or let them rebel anticipating that they will later re-rebel! This is stupid.

Typo: In the Social Projects list there is a "Hyper Distribution Cente".

I want to know what is going on because the stats and graphs don't correlate (Their Morale and Technology is ranked first yet the graph indicates my technology is greater. The stats indicate my Research to be 110% and theirs to be 85%. The stats indicate my Morale to be 172% and theirs 60%!), because one moment my budget is positive and the next moment I'm in the hole, because one moment a planet has 100 morale and the next it is 30; several turns later it's 100 again (I wish someone would explain this!!!). So I attempt to learn what is happening by looking at the stats; mine and supposedly theirs. The Social, Military, Economic, and Technology buttons work poorly at best. The Foreign Social Stats button indicates the most populous planet to be Geta II. That's my planet NOT theirs. So I look at MY Social stats the most populous planet is Antares II, which is correct. and The Foreign stats indicate espionage spending "on this race". This appears to be what I spent on them. This information belongs in my stats not theirs! I want to know what they are doing, RIGHT NOW, NOT what I did! They evidently have no Economic stats (I have reached an advanced level of Espionage...).

I click the turn button but neither map is active. I was last looking at my stats. Ships move, battles happen, and I see nothing. Do I want to upgrade this starbase? What starbase I can't see a thing and even if the main map was active, I can't move this messsage panel. It seems to me that both the main map and mini-map should be active when the computer has control!!!

Research victory 2%???

I have never understood why the benfits of a Starbase was limited to the sector it was built in. I could have a starsystem immediately adjacent to a Starbase but in a different sector and not benefit at all from Military and Social production. Why don't Starbases have an area of affect instead of the sector they are built in?

Where's the previous button? I really would like to move to a previous planet where an event occurred (social/military task complete).

Tribute = 4294966996 bc/turn. Huh?

Is this with 1.13? If so, these posts should have been made to the other thread.

It's a feature that you can finish a ship after capturing it through invasion or culture.

When you clicked on the colony ship, was it when you were going through the planet events?  Do you have a save game that can reproduce the bug?

Was there only one other race, or was there only one race that you'd met?

If a planet's morale is high, and your influence in the sector is high, you don't have to worry about it defecting, but if your influence and morale ever drop again, it will rebel.  That is why the warning stays.

Research victory 2%: you've researched/obtained 2% of the techs necessary to win a research victory.

The starbase bonuses are limited to sectors because otherwise the calculations would take up way too much time.

You can click on the events in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

I don't know how you ended up with that tribute, but that's a negative number.

I have never seen any other value under the economy tab on the stats window. That was true for all version since 1.10, I can't tell before that, I didn't own Galvic before version 1.10 :)

I suppose it is probably 0 at the start of the game, I keep forgetting to check it when I start a new game. ;)

Could it have something to do with paying a tribute for more than 50 turns?

On the page where you set tax rate, etc, or the stats page?
