I stopped doing those reports when the names got too sparse..... But With new members, the G.R.O.S.S. board reports will resume once again soon.

Thats odd.. last game I submitted only increased my score by about 7K but increased my total games by 2... Along with others I've read recently in the threads there seems to be something awry with submitting to the metaverse.. :notsure:

Mine must have done the same. a 54k only put me up 5k. Count your actual games posted and see if it jibes with the count in the meta.

Greeting Special Forces! In case you missed it, RB is sponsoring another set of succession games. Since many of us at RB have been playing Civ3 succession games since we were kneehigh to a combat boot, it seemed a natural progression for GalCiv. Our first game was a rousing success, and we are looking to jumpstart three more games before the next patch/expansion.

I maybe wrong, but I am remembering that Rainbow Warrior1 and Rainbow Warrior2 implie only french people and no other western european countries , and I would add that evenement in Egypt in 1956 where England and France were involved was a military victory that went into a diplomatic failure.
I could be wrong.

Well if pride honour and brotherhood only applies (in your eyes) to WAR and other atrocities... that says everything about the Americans and their way of thinking. Europe surely learned from its mistakes and has known peace for years.

Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, 1 Gulf War, Second Gulf war...

Honour, Pride and Brotherhood, means I won't leave my empire because another Empire has more chances of getting to the top. It means loyalty and sticking with friends...

The Falklands war was a single victory with lots of dead and a stupid little island rewon. I'd rather not have a "victory" like that.
Oh and congrats, I didn't know the US won the 2 world war alone, I always thought, Australia, New-Zealand, Brits, Canadians and French in Exile helped. But then Allied meant as much then as coalition now I suppose...

Korea: Was multi-national, granted primarily US
Vietnam: France first then us...
Cold War: More than just US vs Soviets
Gulf War 1: Coalition
Gulf War 2: Sort of a coalition....

There is more to each of these I know. I am merely showing not everything is cut and dried with easy cookie-cutter answers. The first two are representative of the silly "domino theory" with the third a continuation of the "fears".

These words are predominantly used in conjunction with military units and military ideals. Yes, they apply to other things as nationalism, for instatnce, but the knee jerk reaction is to apply them to the military. I do not think the intent of anyone is to start a thread about any nation's historical rights or wrongs...

No one said otherwise in any of the posts above. The poster qualified the statement made with the word: unassisted.

And I doubt very much if any disrespect were meant in any way. I think everyone is aware of the sacrifices made by many, many countries and men of all walks, in that war and, in fact, in all wars.
