Cultural Vic/ Metaverse Error

I am playing the latest greatest version of GalCiv 1.10a, and I reached a 93% Cultural score, but the game didn't end. Finally I managed an alliance victory.

When I went to submit the metaverse score, it said "Test 1 Error 0" :notsure:

Anyone else having these problems?

Not too sure here if the cultural indicator in the menu correlates correctly with your dominance as it should (plus you need to maintain it for a year once you get it to win, and only then if the culture victory option is on)

As for the submission message, that's the way it's supposed to be, since Brad and crew added in some new feedback to the process in 1.10. Test 1 means it sent ok, error 0 means there were no problems.

I did notice my culture vary from 88 to 93 over some turns, so I guess that was it.

Culture Vic option was definately set.

You can only win via culture after 2190 IIRC.

I get "Test 1 Error 0" message on successful submissions.

Did you just update to Drengin.net, Boatshoe?

Same problem for me. Freshly installed GalCiv and v1.1 stand alone, played a fast game to test the submission, and my Conquest (not Cultural!) victory shows as a loss. Load my metaverse page and check the difficulty, this is a joke! I am currently playing Crippling difficulty level... I still have a last turn save.

Did not upgrade to Dregnin.net, btw.
