Now now - this thread has made me realise my two mortgages, credit card repayments and step-daughter at university aren't as financially painful and tragic as they may have seemed to me in the past. In fact, and in the spirit of this thread if anyone would like to take this opportunity to relieve me of some of this monetary workload I feel sure I can respond by offering a piece of pie or some pudding in return - of course my wife and I may starve if you take our last meal but we are willing to risk it.

Failing that, please someone help him - he's obviously a trier

Ok - I've just about got over the tragedy/comedy of your original post spider so as a fellow newbie I offer the following suggestion. Break it down/keep it simple. Draw/create a button or widget first, then post a link to it on the skinning board using a free image host such as my favourite http://www.myimgs.com and ask for suggestions as to how you can make the image achieve what you want. I'm sure it's easier to help when you've got something solid to work with

Er,,yeah. Just because I own my own (small) business, it doesn't mean that I'm making money. Wish I was, because I sure do need some.
Anyway, I came here for help (at least a little) and only got made fun of. What kind of support is that?!?! This is my 1st visit back since posting the thread. I've since then figured out how to make custome objects and themes. I'll be posting the theme soon. There's not much to it since it's my 1st try. but Every bit of it is customed. Even the clock is custome.
I've also got about a dozen objects to go with the theme that are also original.
Sorry that I didn't mention it before, but when I said "HBO," I ment "Halo.Bungie.Org." Not the crappy cabel channel. And like I said, this theme is based on my Miniature Halo Comic.

Don't take it personally Spider - its another reason to keep it simple when asking for help - once someone spot's an unintended piece of humour, a post can become sidetracked - sometimes it gets very funny and or useful, sometimes it just crashes and burns. Just post a smile and enjoy the boards.

Sorry SEspider, we try to help but when you're not getting rich it helps to keep it fun. It seems that I lot of people expect us to spend our time doing their work for free. When you combine the first and second sentence maybe you can begin to understand and maybe, if you're joining the community, you will begin to see many other threads where fellow members are going through hard times too. Either you laugh a lot at silly things or you go out of your mind. Personally, I laugh a lot although some people may think that I'm out of my mind.
