A niche bug (and one I might deserve for running this through Mac/Parallels!), but I thought I'd share it given it only started occurring after the recent update.
After v1.51, planet surface/structure textures do not render when running Sins of a Solar Empire II via Parallels on Apple Silicon. The atmosphere, cities, lighting effects, and UI elements are still visible in these features.
Rolling back to the previous version using Steam, v1.5, restores correct rendering. Forcing dx11 launch option with v1.51 changed nothing, nor did lowering all graphics settings to minimum/reducing resolution.
Running this on an M2 Mac (2023, Tahoe 26.4), emulating Windows 11 Education edition using Parallels Desktop in Gaming mode. No mods to the game. Worked flawlessly until the update...
