Game crash when opening the mod tab

recently, I have been having an issue where my game will immediately crash upon going to the mods tab. The only exception is launching the game in administrator mode, which will have my account not logged in and can't authenticate with Mod.io . This leads me to believe my game crashes when it attempts to authenticate with Mod.io or load it up. iv tried every simple solution I can think of at this point from validating game files to completely deleting every local file (appdata/local included) and reinstalling, and when that did not work I even tried having a friend with a working game send me their files and replace mine with their to no success.

this started happening after I tried to subscribe to a mod in the game and I then noticed I did not have enough space in the drive the mods were being installed on, and went to clear out some space then closed and relaunched the game.

I do get the automatic crash report screen, and I can try sending one of those but I have not seen any logs other than that.

Hello, i just tried today and it once again crashed as soon as I clicked the button below the view terms when I go to the modding page. i tried both on the live branch and the test branch. like I said in my initial post, this would seem to be something having to do with the game trying to connect with mod.io (thinking back on it, this also only seemed to start happening when I went to the mod.io webpage and made an account)
