Planet Artifact Unavailable After Recapturing a Planet

Replicate bug:
1) Colonize an asteroid.
2) Survey the asteroid.
3) Acquire a planet-item artifact.
4) Put the artifact on the asteroid.
5) Lose the asteroid and have another player colonize it.
6) Recapture the asteroid.

For a while the overview screen shows the yellow artifact marker. Eventually the marker disappears. It seems the artifact has disappeared from the game.

I've noticed a lot of yellow marker planets and asteroids captured late in game, presumably after the AI's have exchanged ownership that have no artifact, no planetary extra features, or anything when i eventually take possession of them and have suspected that they initially had an artifact.  Overall, Sins2 matches with lots of planets have been really really really crappy with artifacts.
