Hello,
In sins rebellion, we had the option to select fleet and then right click on one ship and all the ships converge on that selected ship, basically the fleet hugging that ship in a tight circle.
This was useful for micro'ing fleets to optimize either defensive posture or offensive posture in battle engagements. For example, one Progenitor Mothership's Shield Regeneration 3 has a certain range, and doesn't cover all of the fleet, so the ships outside that radius don't benefit from shield healing where in Sins Rebellion, you could select all your ships and then click on the Progenitor and all the ships would hug and converge on the Progenitor, meaning that all the ships would be in range to receive shield healing.
Another useful thing about this move command was that you could move your ships to hug any structure such as a Starbase, and all the ships would surround the starbase.
In terms of offensive, this was useful because you can select your fleet, and click on an enemy Akkan Battlecruiser which had just activated Amistice which forces everyone into a temporary ceasefire, which your fleet can surround that Akkan ship and the moment Armistice wears off, focused fire on that ship to destroy it before it can activate Armistice again.
These were proper tactics in Rebellion, and this move command seems to be missing from Sins 2, unless there's a hotkey for it that I'm not aware off?
