How would I change the in game ship icon and graphics?

I want to replace the tech titan skin with a new one.

What files would I need to create to replace the tec titan skin? What programs would I need to use to make that file? I currently have gimp, 3d converter, blender, and notepad++ that I use for modding. I think I'm missing a step here with the mesh files and linking them to the unit files is my guess.

It depends how you define 'skin' - if its just the texture you can already do it using the tools listed above.

If you want to change the mesh itself you will also need our mesh converter. We also have some other tools that will make it easier - in particular setting up the weapons arcs etc. Most of these tools will be released with the Advent release.

Thank you. Where do I get the mesh converter or is that one only coming out with the Advent update?

I think it's the mesh I want to change since I want to put a different ship into the game in place of the existing titan. I'm also perfectly willing to wait for the suite of modding tools that will come out if that is the easiest and most compatible route.
