Will the online multiplayer feature cross-play between Epic and Steam? I suspect this would assuage a lot of the concerns over the EGS exclusivity if people knew they could play with their Steam Friends even if they bought via Epic.
Yes, multiplayer and modding will be platform agnostic. Multiplayer will be done via the cloud using our own server setup and modding will be hosted via our own internal Tachyon system.
Good to hear this. I remember chivalry 2 had a horrid time with this.
Epic Games problem I have right now is that you cannot gift games to friends on the platform.
