New Modern Files App for Windows 10 - Files UWP

Files UWP is a new app that's currently in beta in the Microsoft Store. It's a nice modern app you can use as an alternative to Windows Explorer.

I don't get it. Seems like it does less than Explorer. I don't see why I should use this over it. I like the open in terminal, but I already have that as an option in the right click context menu.

I don't use the libraries in Windows and a menu like the one on the left here has never appealed to me in any way, and as already mentioned, why use an app with less functionality than Windows explorer. And I don't like the way Microsoft design things nowadays and everything so big. Besides, if you want something else that is really efficient productivity wise, Total Commander (shareware) or WinNc (Norton Commander) are much better choices, in my opinion.
