Reporting the issue is the first step :)

In the meanwhile, the workaround would likely be to stick to resolutions no wider than 16:9.

Yep, you did. I was referring to your comment that you waited a long time to post it.

There's no harm in posting something even if it is already known, so don't hesitate if you have any other issues. You might be repeating what others have said, but you might also be the only one who noticed the problem.
