I really wish there was a way to 'save' your crews.

This carrier just killed....

3 Tec Railguns

5 squads of fighters

And then narrowly escaped death with less than 100 health after two other factions (not the ragnarov's owner) rolled into the system. Nowhere to go except right through the middle of both fleets. 

 

And then my game crashed.

 

RIP Elite Crew.

Actually, if you play as Advent and have a level 6 progenitor mothership, you can do that.

Okay, technically its the unity saving the consciousness of the destroyed capitalship's crew, then implanting their minds into a green capitalships' crew, but the effect is the same. You get to make a new capitalship the same level as the one that was destroyed.

Not quite what I meant. I am aware of the advent's ability. I'm talking about 'Saving' the crew. Like, from game to game.

Oooh. Well that could be cool, but usually that thing is saved for a campaign. And we know that won't be coming anytime soon.
