The TRUE and ORIGINAL "Heavy Metal"
They're on tonight in Melbourne....and it's been 40 years since the last time...
Hopefully Ozzy has a few synapses that still fire OK ....and from the sound of the song linked....he ain't changed much at all...
About time I got a little 'Black'....
Seen the Pinks, the Purples....even the Crimsons...
Heavy!
Awesome!
Sweet! Wish I was there!
OMG ! You´re Human afterall
Yeap, takes me back quite a few years.
Where's Ozzy?
Back again...and it was great...
Phone was being recalcitrant...hooking to PC...but here's a shot I took...
It looks like they played to a full house. (Wish I was there) For low light and a phone camera, not a bad pic.
Quaintly it was the first-released concert date....but ended up the second concert.....they sold out the second night first...if that makes sense...
...and yes...it was a full house...
Awesome! I am totally jealous!
Let's not exaggerate, Andy.
Just the drum-solo was worth the price.....it was impeccable....everything you could possibly do with a drumkit [that wasn't illegal]...
Quote from the Age re the first concert..."Yes, there was an element of pantomime, but when you've been waiting 40 years for an encore you take what you can get and appreciate it. For a man of Ozzy's age and state to battle so for our entertainment was admirable and no Sabbath fan would have left disappointed."Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/entertainment/music/black-sabbath-20130430-2ipfy.html#ixzz2S5DwGXlK
You wonder what Iommi's string work would sound like if he had all of his 10 fingers...and Geezer proved you don't need 6 strings to do a 'lead break' ....
I'll be getting the new rekkid too....when it's released...
wow.. really jealous - please share more pics if you take any. Thanks!
I took a few ...but via phone, not legit camera... so they ain't that good really....and I was too caught up listening/enjoying...
Is Ozzy wearing a Depends adult diaper?
The best pictures are in your memories.
Thank God there are still fans of real music out there. I start to get discouraged when I hear the new stuff. NO SOUL!
Where is Soul today? Rap is not soul! I miss the great Soul singers of yesteryear.
