For most general users, there's nothing 'wrong' with the service (though I could certainly see pricing discepancies for other regions being a little annoying). There are just a number of people out there that care about things that your average game-player doesn't.
For example, in the above post, it's never been worth my time to sell used PC games and frankly I'll be a little depressed if I'm playing the same obscure games on a PC-style device 20 years from now. There's a legitimate concern behind each of those bullet points but for my part, based on my gaming habits, none of them bother me in the slightest. Obviously, mileage will vary.
