Frigates and Phase Lanes

If this has been asked before please feel free to just direct me to the appropriate thread...

I would like to create a mini-mod which stops Frigate movement across phase lanes. Is this something which is configurable or hard coded within the game? If configurable, any related information would be greatly appreciated.

Basically prevent them from using phase lanes - limit them to the planet where they were created.

Easy! just give them all an ability that is a passive buff which grants the phase jump disabled "buff".

Take a look at the puddle jumpers in the stargate races mod. (there are 2 stargate mods)
