Excellent work Frankie. I saved every version and to see the progression is phenomenal. You have certainly put in a lot of time and effort and even though the going was a bit rough at times you should give yourself a pat on the back for persevering and following it through till the end. Congratulations.

• The image you used needs to be acknowledged in keeping with 'Fair Use' or rules layed out by the author. You may have 'found' it through Google, but it is not a 'Google Image' or their property, so to speak. Nor is it yours to do what you want with just because you downloaded it, Generally, folks use what is known as 'stock' images and obtain permission from the original author to use it. That permission is then enclosed in the zip with your finished work or permission/acknowledgment is shown in the description. (DeviantARt has some great stock artists. Just be sure to check the individuals rules for use.)
• I don't know for sure, but IMHO, the pink hearts and 'comb' image are blinding. This can be a distraction and the wall could be considered something that isn't 'usable' or 'functional'.
• Finally, (from me, anyway), the words 'cheap', 'lame', etc..I don't know your intent, but it makes you sound like you didn't take what you were doing very seriously and just slapped it together. And to be blunt, since that what this thread is about (and this is not a personal attack against you) it looks slapped together.

If you're serious about making good, functional, stylish, attractive, wallpapers...I would utilize this thread for advice. Post your drafts and be prepared some honest critiques....but keep in mind they will be coming from some of the best artists on this or any other site. I think you can achieve what you want based on this piece of work (no matter how much I may have dissed it). All you need is thick skin, and open mind, and the sincere desire to do .

I don't get it at all. I for one take offense when I see the words "cheap" and "lame" in the description. I work very hard on my wallpapers, sometimes weeks just get the lighting right. I would highly suggest removing the text so we can see what it is you are trying to get feedback on. 

The picture above  posted was only an example and its only stating what i seen as rated a 4 star quality picture, its only a joke! i would never EVER transmit art like this to get favs or comments on it im talking about stuff thats worth asking for some comments or critic...the picture above is nothing in that category...
The terms used lame cheap and so on only complement the image  I POSTED above...Not the Pet thingy im sure its a high quality shot since its nature and you cant make nature better...
The picture only displays what i have seen many many times a ripped pic of from some photograph or artist combined and used to make a wall ..that actually made it into the hall gallery of Wallpapers while my submissions not even pop up or get refused by some WC staff!
Im not trying to insult someone or anything with the words used just to make that clear and also i didnt mentioned any artists name.
@skyzyk i never mentioned that your work isnt what it is never ever said something about it, even if im not a fan i still honest your efford.
Im been here for couple of years started with a diffrent account and viewed WC for some time before i bought my first OD pack.
I always found it facinating that people can submit their work to the public ( world ) and gain some sort of respekt or even get some fans on this way.
My whole point in this is that if i submit something thats worth talking about it gets rejected
I submitted the outofthebox wallpaper today done in my early stages of using PS and Zbrush.
I must admit some graphics used in this wall are also from some unknown artist.Also the brain was from some Medical page i found somewhere in the web.
Anyway i realy would like to show some diffrent stuff and i know that it might rain hard critism but thats why iam here for to see what others think about it! So that wouldnt be a problem.I would love to see Brutal critsm because you learn from that...I will try to make some changes in color and so on ( not on the thing in my last post ) on the stuff that got rejected today and we will see what happens.
Anyway i didnt recieve an answer to my question if i need to be a Subscriber to get my work to show up under the category it fits or if its gonna stay only on my profile if im a non subscriber... thanks in advance

You do not have to subscribe to have your work published. Just need to meet the guidelines and submit an acceptable graphic. Again, if you post a screenshot of your work here for critique, that is the purpose of this thread.

Btw this is quite old and its nothing fancy on it i only would like to know why this isnt showing up under wallpapers
PS i know i did a lousy job on masking here also ^^ as you can see on the shadow dots also the shadow isnt in order with the light source im aware of that

Lets forget for a minute that you openly admitted to not having permissions to use the brain, and some other graphics were not of your making and have no permission to redistribute them. Which alone is reason for exile of the work.

#1 brain looks placed.

#2. mixing of styles of images.  You have a hodge podge of surreal items *brain and Box* with cartoon style of scribbles, which dont Flow together, no sense of bond or belonging.

#3.Text. rarely can one pull off text within a wallpaper and have it actually be passed in to Public library. One should only have to post the wall, the image should draw the viewer to their own conclusion of meaning, if done well the viewer will typically come to the same thoughts you had when making. To require text to entice them to see what your works is attempting to express, means you need to convey your thoughts better.

#4. while it may be an interesting piece of art, not all art is worthy of being a good desktop wallpaper. A pic of my dog can be classified as art, yet other then to me and possibly a few folks out there interested in dog' pix, it would not really be of interest to the greater community.

so for future stuff no text only the wall of course only parts that belong or have been created by myself the surreal thing is true the comic overall thing was the time i starded doing stuff with PS the two parts heading right were for dual screen so all i would have to do was mirror the main image and displace the text...and yes i dont like it overall true true! its just an old pic i thow in here to get figured why my (work isnt showing up in the main wallpaper category) like i said this weekend i will post some more stuff including your suggestions thanks a lot this was helpfull
