How do you use the Convert data?

I really need to convert, but when i open the .exe for it it just exits it!

the convertdata*.exe's ARE a commandline OR batch program.

there are some GUI wrappers for the convertdata's like dekanriks and mine

mine assumes that the folder that contains all the files/folders you want to convert have the sins expansion & version number in them eg entrenchment 1.041, entrenchment 1.03,sins 1.17. 'sins of a solar empire 1.181' AND ARE NOT in the program files pat.

also I found a bug in my earlier version that ONLY looked at 4 digit sins versions, the corrected version is in the 1.181a rar's, and the modding utilites 1.181a.rar from the mod updater has the latest version and all of my other sins utilities that I have released.
