yes, I suggest creating a template to do this  with the colonizechance 1

eg.

template
    templateName "RandomMilitia"
    subTemplates 0
    groups 1
    group
        condition
            type "Always"
            param ""
        owner "RandomMilitia"
        colonizeChance 1
        items 23

I’m not that good with galaxy forge is there a way without going into text files

also does this method make the militia ownership random (that's what I'm going for)

at present there is no way of forcing the colonised to other than 0 in galaxy forge, but you create the template in galaxy forge and when you save the map you then have to edit the template to change the colonisechance from 0 to 1
